Extremely charmed by this bakery cafe. I frankly dislike cakes and don’t go out of my way to get cakes. But I walked past this bakery after my brother recently told me he had been craving a carrot cake - so I got that and a biscoff slice, and they were both just absolutely flawless. Light textured but rich in flavour, not too sweet, honestly heavenly? Generous servings and very decent prices. I plan to go back here for every birthday or cake-requiring occasion from now on. When I was there I also overheard the staff treat their customers with so much patience and care. So lovely to see.

Was exploring Fitzroy in the rain and walked by this bakery with all this hand written signs out the front and politely asked to see the cake cabinet after realising they were getting ready to close up (I’m an avid bakery fan). The gentleman advised we were more than welcome to browse and that it’d be takeaway only since they were near closing. I was pleasantly surprised to see the selection aswell as a super cute tiered cake fridge in the shop (forgot to take a photo). My partner and I were tossing up between lemon tart or the carrot cake but decided on carrot cake, but lovely man also gave
