We were in Mandurah for the weekend and fish and chips felt like the perfect dinner choice for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids. We first tried another shop but they didn’t offer a family deal, so after a quick search we headed to Mandurah Foreshore Fish and Chips, which advertised the cheapest family option online. When we arrived, the in-store prices didn’t match what we’d seen online, which was a bit confusing. My husband went in to check and the new owner kindly came out to speak with us. She was genuinely lovely, offered a discount, and even added extra salt and fresh lemon to our order

First visit here mainly because they offer Atlantic cod, which is not common in many fish and chip shops. I ordered the cod and chips. The wait time was reasonable and the service straightforward. The cod itself was very good, nicely battered, crisp, and cooked through with generous portions. However, the chips were inconsistent, some were piping hot and well done, while others were still undercooked in the centre. I had also asked for salt and vinegar, but it seemed to have been missed, which left the chips quite plain. Overall, the fish was excellent, but the chips could use improvement in
