We’ve been coming to Penang House for so many years now, and it never disappoints! Every single time we order — whether dining in or takeaway — the food is absolutely on point. Fresh, flavourful, and consistently incredible. The service is always outstanding, warm, and efficient, and we’ve never had a single issue. Unfortunately, our last two visits have been disappointing. The spring rolls, which are usually thin and crispy, were served with thick, oily pastry, and the chicken was so tough it was difficult to eat. We raised our concerns with staff and explained that this was not the standard we’ve come to expect. We left most of the spring rolls and were unable to eat much of the chicken. Despite this, we were still charged for the meals, which we felt was poor customer service given the circumstances. Visit Date: Friday 3 January 2025, 7pm HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking a table if you are dining at Penang House on a Friday night. The restaurant was full when I arrived at 7pm, except for the table that I easily booked over the phone on the same day in the afternoon 📞📖 Parking is scarce, as Penang House is located at the Mandurah Foreshore, so I always park at the Smart Street Woolworths carpark (which is a 5 minute walk away).
