I almost don’t want to share this because it feels like such a secret, but Yarra Falls is honestly a hidden gem. It’s small, cosy and intimate, with most of the chairs lined up along the bar so you feel part of the experience rather than tucked away at a table. The records spinning in the background give it such a warm, relaxed energy. There was an Irish bartender working last night who was brilliant. Looking for an interesting, well stocked bar, some great music and a bartender eloquent, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to speak to....look no further. I went here on a very wet Thursday last week and was welcomed like I was a regular. This is the sort of place you could happily lose a few hours, supping some great drinks, listening to the stories of the owner Brenden and vibing out to some laid back tunes. Will definitely be back next visit to Melbourne.

A unique and high quality bar that is easy to slide into. Good vibes all round with an approachable menu and the best hot potato bread you will find at any bar in Australia. They have a house smoked Irish whisky- an interesting synergy of Aussie and Irish. And if you aren't sure what to have- just ask for a recommendations from the tasteful bar tenders. A place to return to, and genuinely open till 1am.
