My daughter and I dined here on a Saturday night in January. Apart from the quality meal which I can only rave about - tandoori chicken, lamb masala, roti and rice - the service level was just right, tables suitably spaced out and staff knew just the right amount of attention to give us. Sad that I don't live in Tassie as this would be my local for eat in and take away. Yum!

We lived close by to the restaurant during our recent trip to Launceston and it was a happy find for dinner, for consecutive nights, with whole day being enjoyable out in the sun. Ambience is on dot, good seating and great service. All our requests were well tended. We probably raked through most of the vegetarian options, ordered Dal Makhani, Mix veg Korma, Kadai Paneer with Roti, Saffron rice and Veg Biriyani. The spice levels were adjusted as requested on the curries, and the flavours really came through. The veggies in Kurma were under cooked and a bit raw which made the curry less enjoyab
