Gorgeous venue! I've been here twice for dinner, once on a weekday with a large(ish) group of 7 people, and the other on a Saturday with a smaller group. The food was so tasty on both occasions. Good portions, great for sharing, yummy cocktails. The staff were so polite and friendly, and the venue has a great atmosphere. It's a hidden gem!!!

We had a group of 6 for dinner. We dined upstairs as we were walk in during the week. The atmosphere was busy, bubbly and quite loud. Its hard to hear the group talking at stages during the evening, we didn't mind, but families with young children might. Our food was amazing. Some of us ordered food to share and theres a range of great choices, each tasted amazing! The only issue was we had to order food at the bar and the cue was quite long. Table service would have been better for ordering. We loved the vibe at the stables. Staff were friendly. Thanks team.

Using the past as a means to advertise the future the stables bar shows the punter a great eatery/bar. Exposed brick and a court yard adorned with Turkish style lamps its Soho meets Perth chill. I highly recommend this bar come restaurant on Hay Street. If you are staying in one of the many hotels located in this area the convenience and quality of this location makes you want to come back again and again. Great food and delectable cocktails to quench your thirst.

I had a function here in the basement area. It's a cosy nice place for functions. However, the acoustics are terrible and we had to shout at each other to speak and even then it was hard to hear. Food wise, it was OK. I wouldn't say special, with flavours and combinations not that exciting. Overall, it feels pretty average for a bar in the CBD.
