It’s just small cafe. No inside table or seat. You can grab your coffee or pastries over window. Nice peaceful park. Kids friendly. Some crates or benches available but if you have family, should bring your own picnic mat.

Visited in Dec 2025 Chanced upon this coffee place while walking in Perth and looking for a nearby coffee place on google maps. This is a “hole in a wall” type coffee cafe at corner of a field/park as the name suggests. You can either do a takeaway, or have the coffee there itself. There are some small wooden seats in the outside the cafe. I’d suggest trying to have the coffee there as their cups are quite artistic. Coffee wise, I found this place to be decent. My go-to coffee spot after my yoga sesh at Hyde Park. I ordered the Ham & Cheese toastie and a mocha today. The toastie is a generous serving for one person. The mocha is okay, but it tastes a bit different from the usual. The staff is always warm and friendly, and the place really gets busy on Sunday mornings. Highly recommended if you want a park-side spot that’s great for children and dogs.

Best coffee (both filter and espresso) in Perth, hands down! All the baristas are so lovely and we couldn’t go to Parkside enough during our time in Perth. Their wide variety of single origin offerings (through own roaster, Good People Nice Things) are off the charts and I got excited to try something new every time I saw a new label! Cutest mugs too!
