Visited Metropole Café at QVB and had a great experience. The coffee was nice and well made, and the brownie was fresh and delicious. Everything felt top-notch, from the quality of the food to the overall atmosphere. I especially loved the service — staff were friendly and attentive. The prices were pretty reasonable considering it’s located right in the middle of such a premium building. Overall, a very good experience and definitely worth a visit.

Metropole Cafe is definitely a popular spot, and it shows—it was very crowded during the morning hours. Even on a weekday, finding a table was quite a challenge, so be prepared for a bit of a wait or a lively atmosphere. That said, the coffee is great and seriously strong, which was exactly what we needed. It feels especially nice to enjoy a drink in such a beautiful interior. If you can manage to snag a seat, the stunning design makes it a lovely place to sit and soak in the city vibes. Overall, a solid choice for a high-quality caffeine fix in a great setting.

Visited on Saturday, 13/12/2025 at 2.30pm. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing visit. The cinnamon scroll was dry and the coffee was average at best. The service was the main issue. Started off from the counter and followed by the two staff members - we asked about tap water and were told to get it ourselves, yet no cup or glass was provided. The tap had a sign stating “tap water staff use only,” which made us hesitant. When the confusion was raised, the staff member sighed and assisted us, but did so in a dismissive and unfriendly manner, which made the interaction uncomfortable. Overa

Metrople Cafe is a gem. The long black was spot on—rich and smooth, just how I like it. I had a billing issue with the app (not their fault), and Caroline went above and beyond to help me sort it out. Lani even followed up with an update, which I really appreciated. Great coffee, even better service. Will definitely be back.
