If ever you Stumbled upon this place, don’t skip it, head straight in for a meal or even just a cuppa and You’ll Not regret it. We were given the best service and I would like to specially mention our waiter, named Shea!! We had a really great time, thanks to this waiter who not only helped us with our order, but provided is blanket so that we will stay warm while we enjoy our meals, so heartwarming, I’ll definitely be back often!!! Something new and something blue. I tried this cafe for a change from my regular coffee haunts. First thing I noticed is they accept customers to Walk into the cafe with their pets whilst ordering which I thought was a fantastic idea. The cafe is situated on a corner, which has good view out the window watching the world go by. My coffee was excellent quality and the service was prompt and friendly. One of the characteristics of Brisbane cafes is that many are located in what were local corner shops. Many inner Brissy suburbs still have these conveniently dotted around street corners. They have large footpath awnings so plenty of shaded outdoor seating, which is great for most of the year, and large front windows so plenty of light and views if you do sit inside. Blue Bear Coffeehouse was busy with walkin takeaways and others staying to dine in. Nice coffee, fun staff and delicious snacks. There is a little trafffic noise from James Street, but not enough to cause a problem.
