Wonderful. Very nice food and drink served here by a kind host. This is very much a neighbourhood bar with an unpretentious feel. The food is plentiful and very tasty. The potato salad and mixed salad was totally delicious and the Cordon Bleu enormous. The vintage decor adds to the charm. Thank you, David

Dark and cozy, this secret post-performance place of musicians from the Volksoper is one of the very few REAL, typical and original "Gasthäuser" left in Vienna. I've been coming here for 30 years, it just keeps getting better, i.e., stays the same. Good local seasonal wine selection. Order "Fiaker Gulash" - it's not on the menu, but they'll make it for you. We had recently arrived in Vienna and were hungry and looking for a place to eat. I found this place and luckily they had free tables. The staff is very kind, polite & funny, nothing to complain about. The food was tasty and affordable. My husband had the traditional schnitzel and said it was very delicious. I chose a dish with pork meat, it was good. However, the atmosphere of the place is unpleasant. It's full of men who are there to drink beer and watch sports shows on TV. Had a good experience in here. The lady was very friendly and accommodating. A very relax and easy going vibe. Even the people who comes for a beer or food were very welcoming. (I think they’re locals) definitely I can recommend this place plus the price it’s very affordable!! Had a big schnitzel a salad and a beer for only 12€ and some cents. 👍🏻🙂🙂
