I really like this restaurant. They offer excellent traditional Austrian dishes with great portions and fair prices. The place is a bit old-fashioned, but the food is truly outstanding, and I highly recommend it. The service could be a little better, but aside from that, it’s one of my favorite restaurants.

Big portions and really amazing prices 🌞 We have tried several dishes and they are all great. There is some variation: once we went late at night and I think they gave us an extra schnitzel and all their vanilla sauce but also ran out of the other veggies for the potato salad.. Quality was originally 4-4.5/5 but recently increased to 4.5-5/5; large quantities is bonus 💁🏻‍♀️

We were wandering around in search for a restaurant in the cold Viennese night of Christmas and, as an oasis, the sign of Cactus II appeared... This place accepted us and restored. The food is excellent and with generous quantity, as the dishes from "grandma". Nowadays you encounter so many soulless places, where food can be tasty but there is nothing behind the appearance and the flavors. Here at Cactus there is a magical charm of reality, of life. Great food and service. We had an apartment just around the corner for a couple of nights so had to try this out for an evening meal and was not disappointed. You will pay much more in the centre of vienna city for a Wiener Schnitzel but I doubt you'll get food as good as this. These were lovely. Instead of the basic ones we went for Wiener Schnitzel Du Chef Inc mushrooms tomato and potatoes and a Wiener Schnitzel Chicken with Camembert and a mixed salad. Drinks were bottle of alcohol free Gösser and a large Stiegl traditional Austria lager. All in for just over 40 euros which was great value.
