The view from the place is gorgeous. A bit over priced but this is almost the same price as The Landtmann cafe which makes this worth every penny. The food was decent. You only go here mainly for the view which you don't get anywhere else. The walk down the hill was very pleasant and calm. The weather was great the day we were there which made the experience really good. You have a very nice panoramic view of the city with the palace in the front. Truly an amazing place to be at. Cafe Gloriette is a must visit if you like cake and a grand view of the opulance of the Schöbrunn Palace and gardens as well as the city of Vienna. The cafe interior is exquisite with enormous windows and decorated walls and ceiling. A lovely experience. Try the Sisi torte & Gloriette torte!

Wonderful place! The whole complex is huge, so much to see lots of walking on gravel and some uphil walking required to get here. However plenty to see in this what we called a "green rectangle" on the map! Easy 3 -5 hours minimum to trully have time to uncover all little treasures hidden within the complex.

This cafe is excellent, we tried the apffelstruddel with vanilla sauce n whipped cream and had a weiner melange coffe. It was very tasty, nice staff and service. Definitely recommend going here after walking around the park and seeing the city views from Gloriette.
