Delicious cinnamon and chocolate buns. They also had a good Ethiopian batch coffee as well. For buns the only improvement point would be a more generous filling. The ratio is 30% filling to 70% dough. I think it would be much, much better with a 40-60 split. Another minor downside is that the place is extremely small, so there is not enough seating inside in the wintertime. The server was lovely and welcoming

Karl is a great café in Vienna for a coffee break. The coffee was excellent and the avocado egg sandwich was very fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff were very friendly. A perfect place to stop for coffee while exploring the city.

yes it‘s expensive but you know what also is? keeping a small café alive in this area. and they‘re really making an effort there. we had a mango iced matcha latte, an iced vanilla coffee latte and a moisture soft raspberry something roll, amazing stuff. will come again xx

One of the sweetest places in Vienna. Beautiful square and area, calm but feels vibrant in a way. And Karl exactly gives that atmosphere back! It is local and international at the same time. The pastries always taste incredible, never had anything disappointing here! :) My favourites are the sandwiches that they prepare fresh, Virag one of the team members always greets the guests with a warm welcome, smiles and recommends tasty snacks according to your preference! She is wonderful! Super place, with sweets and snacks, and a lovely team! Absolutely gem!
