The waiter was dishonest and not transparent. Firstly, when I asked for an itemized breakdown before paying, and he just pretended like he didn’t understand and ignored us. He just requested us to pay (which I naively did), and then I found out that they charge for serving tap water?? Besides, he did not ask how much I wanted to tip, he just included an additional few euros without asking me. I understand that it’s normal to tip someone for restaurants with table service and I would have done so, but I just felt very odd that this waiter did not had the courtesy to ask?
