Shamiyana is a great restaurant to spend quality time with family or friends. Their interior design is very beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, perfect for taking photos. However, they do have some policies regarding photography, so you may want to check those from the pictures below. Their food is mainly Indian, which may not match everyone’s taste preferences. Personally, I really liked their butter chicken. However, the dal makhani didn’t suit my taste. The staff were very warm and welcoming. They handled our order with great care and professionalism. Overall, I’m satisfied with their service.

Recently, visited this amazing restaurant after a long time. Their service was top notch, with very cordial managers. Sharing a small incidence of their great service- They require reservation during iftar timetables and unfortunately we didn't know that earlier. The restaurant was fully reserved yet they somehow managed for us a table which was an amiable gesture as they did it just few minutes before iftar. Now coming to the food, I won't be biased as there is no need of it. Their Indian cuisine is by far the best in Chittagong that I've tasted so far, as the ingredients of the food just added more flavour to it instead of creating digestion problems. Tbh, there are only few restaurants in Chittagong that use high quality ingredients to their food and Shamiyana is one of them in my list now. Shamiyana is hyped for it's interior but the staff behaviour is totally not professional. I have visited Shamiyana more than once, with my friends and family hoping that they would make improvement. But I noticed no change. They rush you to make the order. And the waiters lack basic mannerisms honestly. If you make a small order for yourself, they try to convince you to order something else. Its completely up to the people, if they dont want to eat more. Why would the staff guilt trap them? I get it if you want to visit it once. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very dreamy, they have great music playlist which will add to your mood and vibe. But I wont visit it again.

My recent visit to Shamiyana Restaurant was very disappointing. The food maybe look good in picture, but the actual taste was so bad. The biryani was too dry and have almost no flavor, the curry taste old and too oily, no proper spice balance, and the dal was watery and very bland. Even the naan was chewy and not feels fresh. Nothing in the plate taste like proper or freshly made food. For a restaurant with this type pricing and reputation, the quality was really very poor. Honestly this was the worst meal I ever eat in Chittagong. I not recommend this place to anyone.
