I had the chance to be invited to dinner at Restaurant Veranda as a guest and speaker at the festival Us By Night. It was a truly lovely evening shared with the rest of the speakers and guests. Even though the restaurant isn’t located in the most central area, it’s absolutely worth the trip. The space itself is beautiful, the kitchen is completely open, so you can watch the chefs at work, and at the very back there’s a garden with lush greenery where you can step out for a smoke or simply enjoy the atmosphere. LOVED the vibe and spectacular design at Veranda with the minimalist cement walls and the fabulous outdoor garden. Service was also very attentive and friendly. The menu for dinner is a set 5-course meal most of which was very good. However, the primary course with the pork neck cut was too fatty for me. Also, I didn't understand why with a 5 course meal, two of those courses would be 2 desserts - both of which I loved but still.....

Special ingredients with very original dressings, visually artistic. The "amuse" first welcome bite was a very tasty and soffisticated bite. Very select non alcoholic beverages infused with fine herbs.

Fine dining spot for some creative dishes. The quality of each dish was very good, especially the sauces. The staff is also extremely kind. I forgot my bag and they were able to keep it for me while I came back to get it. One minor heads up is that the wait time in between each meal was a bit longer than we expected, but otherwise a good dining experience
