The best sauce I’ve ever tasted in my life, perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The meat was incredible, cooked exactly the way it should be, tender and full of flavor. I also tried the moules, and they were unbelievably good. The sauce with the bread was just perfect. The service was amazing, kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Without a doubt, the best restaurant experience we’ve had in Brussels.

Saw upon this shop recommended by ChatGPT as we were looking for Mussels and Fries places near Grand Place. This place is i think more for local as we are the only foreigners there during lunch. Food wise was good, we have tried Mussels and Fries with white wine and also Fish & Chips. Both meals were good and we were left satisfied. Provably can try out Mussels in Garlic if have the chance again, with white wine might be too bland for some people. Mussels portion is quite alot for 2 of us, so don’t over order :)

As a Belgian I felt sorry for all the tourist eating at this place. The food was bland and not worth the money spend. The wine red/white were not good. The waiters were not particularly nice and did not care about their costumers, and to finish it was quite expensive! This felt more like a cantine then a typical Belgian restaurant. Highly recommend going somewhere else!

We had a very good meal! Truly a historic establishment, populated by locals and tourists alike. The server was very attentive, and had an impressive memory! The place was packed: fortunately we had a reservation. Food comes out quick and it is delicious. We had the eel and the frog legs for appetizers and then the mussels. I would definitely recommend it.
