I was recently visiting Leuven on account of seeing my favorite band play at Het Depot. The day after the show, we were looking for somewhere relaxing for a beer and a bite to eat. There are so many inviting places to sit outside in sun or shade and watch the day go by in spring-summer splendor. We chose Café Manger, and so glad we did. The young lady, Amelina was so polite, attentive and very patient; we were still getting used to the local surrounds and size options for beers. She was very sweet and helpful in light of our many questions but at the same time she didn’t hover about, unobtrus

Very slow service there was a young blond waiter that was practically not doing anything I had to wait for more than 20 minutes, I would have understood that if there was a lot of people but their was practically nobody (3-5 people). You had to literally wave multiple times to get service and even then it took an excessive amount of time. I wouldn’t recommend this place if this keeps on I use to come here with all my friends often but it has gone downhill lately regrettably.

Sat for about 15 mins waiting for service, why so long? I wanted the server to see us leave. 1 server for about 30 tablets and a bus load of Spanish tourist, who had been served beer at least.

We had a fun evening there! The DJ was quite good. Nice to have drinks and shots (3 euros for tequila), the down side were the creepy dudes scaring the girls away.
