Yesterday, my friend and I ordered the burrata salad. Unfortunately, what we were served was way beyond our comprehension. We received a very small dish consisting of a burrata, 4 small tomato pieces and 2 salad leaves — not even some bread on the side. This for the price of €21!! When my friend addressed this to the waiter, he didn't even bother to bring us some bread, fries, ... or even apologise. A really special location near to the Ouwen Dok itself, an atmospheric hotel with echoes of the past throughout... whether it be the repurposed changing rooms or the old swimming pool. Great range of food, exceptionally clean, all staff courteous if somewhat unsmiling on occasion!

The other day I ate here with some friends. Because there were a lot of us, we could choose 4 different dishes. Which is perfectly fine and understandable! Me and my friend chose a burrata salad, which was written down with the main courses, which led us to believe it’d be a decent meal salad. What we were served however barely filled a hole in my tooth. A small burrata with not even half a tomato and 3 pieces of salad. A dish (literally) smaller than my hand, for €21.
