I enjoyed the cosy traditional atmosphere of the place, and the selection of Belgian dishes & drinks on the menu. I had the Carbonnade Flamande and it was delicious. Full of flavour.

Service was fast and the waiter was polite. 330cl beer turned out to be 500cl (for the price of 330cl). Too much green and too little tomatoes on the side. 3 chicken legs maybe a little too much while the potatoes and the fries were too small (but very good) and there is no bread by default. No appetizers while waiting for the main dish (but customers who only order beer get tasty crackers - we wouldn't mind some with our drinks, too - or olives - or bread+butter - yes, spoiled we are).

Nice place for a coffee or tea, with a great selection of beers (for normal standards) decent selection of beers (for Belgian standards). People are nice and some of them speak in English which is helpful. Upstairs it's more quiet and has place for larger groups. WiFi is also available so withing is possible.

I didn't eat here but came back for a drink several times. Make sure to have a look around the building, this place has been here since 1905 - also a great proper Belgium beer selection 👌
