We came here this evening with my little one for dinner for some mommy daughter time. I called to make sure we can pop by as it was an hour before close and I was told it was no problem. We were greeted whom I think was the owner right in the store space and taken to our seat - what a lovely experience from the start - the definition of hospitality! We then looked through our menu and realized that my littles taste buds aren’t yet so refined for the mouthwatering adult options. This is my first time visit, but definitely not my last time! It's a little cozy restaurant that just perfect for a little chit chat or family brunch. The food was delicious. Weve ordered the hair of the dog, croque Madam Croissant and croissant Smoke salmon Bennie. OMG. Never expected a bacon thats NOT overly salty at all. It was so crispy and thick and yet with delight taste. The sausage was also so perfectly grilled. The croissant was also very perfectly toasted with the toppings. “Worldly food with a touch of Dutch.” Sweet Dutchess is a shop and restaurant located in the St. Andrews Shopping Centre in Aurora. It has been here for a few years, but I’ve only checked it out now. When you enter, you first go through their shop / market in which they sell a variety of cheeses, condiments, frozen goods, sweets, and more. A lot of these items are from the Netherlands and other European countries. These specialities can’t be found easily in other markets. There is a second entrance inside that leads to the restaurant.
