Hidden in plain sight, Fil’s Cafe is full of character and energy. The food looks simple but tastes amazing, and the vibe somehow makes everything taste even better. My wife had… saltier opinions about the décor, but I reminded her I tolerate her décor at home and I don’t even get fed for that. Fil’s special hot sauce? Perfect. You should go to Fil's. We stopped in and had a 5/5 burger, a 5/5 BLT, and 5/5 fries. The burger was hot, juicy, and flavorful. Also generously sized. The BLT was made perfect with crispy bacon and lettuce and tomato of superior quality. The fries were delicious too. There's a hot sauce that's complex and tasty and well worth trying. And the welcoming friendly atmosphere was amazing. Will be back for sure whenever I'm in town.

Great little diner for families Very welcoming … the owners made us feel right at home, getting toys and coloring for the kids, putting in googly eyes to make them laugh, and making them extra mini pancakes so they didn’t get hangry while waiting for our food. They have been there for 42 years and their clientele mostly looks like they had been along for the journey The food is typical diner food, served hot and fresh. Highly recommend!

Stopped in here for breakfast recently, based on the reviews. The place is VERY small, only about 10 tables, and it's VERY cluttered with things on the wall, and could definitely use a cleaning, especially in the bathrooms, and some updating and paint. You feel like you're eating at grammas house. Literally. But! The couple that runs the place are super, very friendly and welcoming, easy to talk to, they know everyone by name, and the food is very good, portions are decent and prices are fair. Some areas for improvement; The coffee wasn't very good, the breakfast sausage was "porky" tasting,
