We were invited here with friends for lunch and it was our first time. From the outside it honestly did not look like much but as soon as we got inside it was packed! This is always a good sign lol. The girls on the front desk seated us and were very friendly. We were there on a Sunday around 11:30am for lunch. Many people around us were having breakfast and it all looked great. I dined at this family-owned diner called Northway Restaurant in Belleville. My waitress Alicia was fantastic! Very cheerful and warm. She was flexible and accommodating to help make my special requests happen seamlessly. She was attentive and kept a good watch on my table, checking in from time to time to make sure my every need was met with care. I ordered the Greek chicken souvlaki. Despite being a Belleville resident for years, I had never been to this restaurant until I graced it recently. I have heard so much about it over the years - especially years ago when there wasn't as many local dining options as there is today.
