Overall, a great experience at Amato and I’ll definitely return to try out some other food and drink options. Our visit was in early April, soon after the opening, so this review is coming a little late, and I do recognize they would have been refining the dining experience at the time. We shared the focaccia and beet & ricotta salad to start. I really enjoyed the salad! It was simple, yet flavourful, and the crunch was great. Finally! A place worthy in chilliwack 🙌 everything was amazing from the first step inside of this stunning new restaurant, every detail was thought out and I was very impressed! The service was excellent and the food was some of the best Italian food we have had ( and my partner is Italian ) so this says a lot! Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

First of all we had to wait 30-40 min to get inside it was annoying for us. The food was good, but I wouldn’t say it was amazing. I think it was average. For this price range, I’ve had much better meals elsewhere. I found the menu a bit overpriced compared to similar restaurants. The Chicken Cacciatore and Beef Carpaccio were both good, but the pasta was overcooked. It was stuck together and not very pleasant to eat. Overall, I’d give it an average rating. It has potential, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

We had such a fantastic experience at Amato! Catherine made us feel more than welcome from the moment we walked in. Her friendly personality and genuine hospitality made the whole evening feel relaxed and special. A huge shout-out to her husband, the chef. Every dish was absolutely delicious.
