A hidden cafe with delicious foods and yummy drinks! Both my bf and I were happy with the food we ordered! Everything was super fresh and flavourful! I especially loved the smoky flavour of the Tofu Misoyaki! The bird seed cookie was also great, though a tad too sweet for me~ I did love how light the banana bread was! Both drinks were not too sweet either~ Would definitely drop by again if I’m in the area for lunch! The food was healthy but delicious~

I have had a lot of matcha on this trip and Aiyaohno has the best - no joke! The food is delicious, I could eat their BeetLT every day for lunch. The space is small, in a little nook in a business building, but it just adds to the charm, and the co-owners are so nice! They have regulars, and really have built a sense of community here. I want them to come to the East Coast! Their merch is not just adorable, like their logo, but quality and locally made! 12/10 😻

Stopped by Aiyaohno on Carrall and honestly didn’t know what to expect. The entrance alone gives it this hidden cafe vibe that I kind of loved. Got a latte and a double choc chip cookie both were really good. Coffee was smooth, cookie was the right amount of dense. Feels very local and low-key. Glad I found it.

I enjoyed the roast smoked tofu misoyaki. The miso-marinated tofu was really yummy—smoky, flavourful, and slightly sweet. Drizzled on the salad, the ginger sesame dressing added a bit of warmth to the fresh greens. I actually would've liked to enjoy more of it. There were also daikon slices, the faint flavours of which instantly reminded me of eating jellyfish salad when I was a kid. It's been awhile since I started searching for vegan-friendly food around Vancouver, and I'm happy that I found this comforting dish at a little cafe with a cute name.
