I had such a great experience at this café! I went with my colleagues and everything was just perfect — the atmosphere, the service, and especially the coffee. Honestly, this was the best coffee I’ve had in Vancouver so far. You can really tell they care about quality and details. The waffles were also delicious and beautifully presented. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a cozy spot with amazing coffee and great vibes. I’ll definitely be back!

Small and cozy spot. I had to venture outside my neighborhood to try it after seeing so many positive reviews, and it was worth the trip. I ordered the Honey Orange Latte and the Grapefruit Raspberry Waffle. I really appreciated the unique flavor combinations, which are not easy to find at other coffee shops. The only thing that would have made the experience even better would have been a bit more guidance from the staff, since it was my first visit. Some recommendations or suggestions would have added a more personal touch and could have made this a 5-star experience for me.

Dropped by early Sunday morning during my layover and I am glad I did. For my first coffee in Vancouver, I followed the hype and came to this almost-hidden (literally, almost missed it) gem. Sited by the corner of the building and partially covered by a stairwell, Prototype serve delicious pourover and interesting waffles.
