I stopped by Sofra in Edmonton recently and tried their Sultan’s Sofrasi for two. The pita bread was the biggest highlight. Both the dessert and the meat were quite good—the dessert for its crispiness and flavour, and the meat for the portion size and how well it was cooked. That said, the meat still tasted different compared to similar dishes I’ve had in Europe. The hummus was a bit too sour and not as thick as I prefer. Overall, I’d give it 8/10.

This was a nice change of pace. We made reservations here for before our hockey game. Table for 2 - it was a really cold night so we asked to not be seated by the window. The marinated olives had a lemony flavour - unexpected but surprisingly good. My wife had the sebzeli pizza. She enjoyed it. I had the Adana kebab. The spice on it was very pleasant. The pilaf was very plain. They were very spartan on th

Our first visit during dining week and we absolutely loved it. The quaint decor caught me immediately as we sat upstairs. Loved the quiet. Our server, sorry I forgot her name was amazing and so fun. Then there was the food. The pitas and dips were incredible, the duck was great and the baclava and Turkish coffee rounded out our evening perfectly.

Amazing flavours and good!! You will feel the taste of the fire and heat used to cook and grill the food. The flavours are beyond what you would want at any grill. Everything was so juicy and flavourful and the Bulgur wheat pilaf is full of depth and comfort in each bite. What a feast. We ordered The Sultan’s sofrani for two of us and highly recommend it. You’ll have leftovers for at least another meal. The Pide was also incredible. Bread there is a MUST.
