Spent 6 days in Downtown Calgary. Went here multiple times. Best Mexican food I’ve tasted in a while. Quesadillas are great. Had the Chicharon (pork belly) was cheesy and delicious. Nachos were unique. Burritos were huge. The chorizo Wes amazing. Wish I had more time to try it all.

Definitely have to come back Everything was yummy. The tortilla soup was insanely good and the Birria tacos were crunchy and overall delicious. The servers were super nice and the place is cool. I feel the music was a bit too loud but amazing experience overall great place defensively have to give it a chance.

We visited Spicy Amigos for the first time on Cinco de Mayo, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. At first, we tried to give the benefit of the doubt since it was busy, but as the night went on, it became clear that the service itself was the issue. It took almost an hour to receive our food after ordering, and when it finally arrived, there were multiple errors across all of our meals. Orders were incorrect or incomplete — missing tacos, wrong proteins, forgotten toppings (like pineapple on al pastor even after confirming), and even extra items we didn’t

We went there on a Friday and it was not busy at all. By the time we sat there were only 3 tables including ours and ours was the only fresh one. First off, no water was offered ok fine but then took sooo long to take our order. 15 min we were sitting without any greetins. There was a DJ going on which set the atmosphere a lil better but it was obnoxiously loud gave me a massive headache. The next day needed a full day to recover. The music was way too loud and people were singing way too loud in the mic as well. There was an older capacity right next to us and oh my God they ordered their app
