Monaco Restaurant is a true gem in Gastown. The place is spotless, with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. We were looking for a place to relax after visiting a few tourist attractions in the area. Monaco Cafe looks great and is nearby. What a mistake! We ordered the drinks we wanted from the cashier counter and the wait time was a little longer. We were understanding because the coffee shop was pretty busy at the time. After 15 minutes' wait. When you can’t visit Monaco itself, visit Monaco Cafe instead. This beautiful little cafe on an old street in downtown Vancouver has such a charming vibe. The atmosphere was lovely, and everyone working there was kind and welcoming. The highlight for me was definitely the tiramisu. I tried the Love Tiramisu, and in one word it was amazing.
