Staff are really friendly, great suggestions for drinks, baked good selection is excellent but go early before they sell out! Really enjoyed their Earl Grey iced Matcha, the syrup is made in house and 10/10. Honestly all the matcha's Ive had here have been great. Love the atmosphere of the space which has been curated so wonderfully.

Lyla’s House is the kind of café that flirts with excellence but never quite commits. The drinks were its redemption — a latte with oat milk and a cappuccino that were both smooth, well-balanced, and genuinely enjoyable. Atmosphere is really nice. Cute little cafe, BUT the service is the opposite. I didn’t get the nice, warm, and helpful vibe/attitude I normally get from most good cafes when I asked about the menu and suggestions. The woman serving me, didn’t even say hi, and kind of just stood there until I kept I said “hi, can I order?”. Disappointing and this cafe should probably spend a little on training their team. I am reading the reviews and see many similar experiences mentioned.

If you're in downtown Georgetown, Lyla’s House is an absolute must visit. The coffee is always spot on, and all of their treats are fantastic but their sandwiches are truly next level. You can tell everything is made with care and quality ingredients. The atmosphere is so aesthetically pleasing, warm, and welcoming that it’s easy to lose track of time while you’re there. The staff are always friendly, and the whole place just has such a comfortable, inviting vibe.
