This has quickly become my favorite Somali restaurant in Ottawa. The food was exceptional—every dish was prepared with remarkable care and authentic flavor. Our server and host, Ahmed, made the experience even better. He was welcoming, attentive, and incredibly helpful, especially when introducing my family to Somali cuisine for the first time. His knowledge and recommendations allowed us to try several memorable dishes. The menu also offers smash burgers and a variety of other unique options, making it an interesting spot for all tastes. We will absolutely be returning. Highly recommended—

I ordered the Mac Duo and it was so good I want it again already. The fries were crispy and perfect, I love the sauce drizzled all over them. The burger was one of the best burgers I've had in a while; the meat cooked well and no weird flavor. Perfect amount of sauce and toppings too. They're definitely generous with everything. I ordered take out, but the restaurant looked very nice and clean. Looking forward to trying more items of their menu.

My husband and I tried Sa'hara on a whim while in the area for the first time and were not disappointed. It was outstanding. We usually have different flavor palates, but not this time. We split a platter with lamb, beef, and chicken and it was more than we could eat in one sitting. The food was made with care, flavorful, and the seasoning was done well without being overbearing. Will definitely have to eat here again next time we're in the area.

My wife and I decided on a whim to give this place a try, and I am so happy we did! My wife got Mixed Suqaar Platter with rice. She was very pleased with the food, lots of amazing flavours. It came with a lovely dressing for the salad and a hot sauce for the meat/rice. Be warned, while delicious, the hot sauce has quite the kick! We got some of the Beef Sambusa's. These were incredible and we cannot wait to get them again! Very delightful. I myself got the Double Supreme Smash Burger. This has to be one of the best burgers ive had in my life! The patties were juicy and hearty! Great cheese
