I find it’s extremely unprofessional when the barista mix 1/2 cup of water into my milk tea when I order the drink with no ice. It tastes like water now, with a little bit of milk flavor. If the drink is supposed to have ice, then you can tell me and I’m happy to drink with ice, no problem. In short term, you can save bunch of supplies money, but I thought franchises need to follow the recipes and rules? Isn’t that against the rules?

My husband and I stopped in at Chatime last Saturday afternoon after spending the morning walking the waterfront, and we were so glad we did. The staff were incredibly friendly and took their time explaining the different tea options to us since we had never tried bubble tea before. I ordered a taro milk tea with tapioca pearls and it was absolutely delicious, sweet but not overwhelming. We will definitely be making this a regular stop on our visits to Halifax!

delicious bubble tea, but i went today at 11:40am ish, and the door was locked. i waited around outside for a little as it states they open at 11:30am and the lights were on, but nothing. waited until 12:00pm and saw no movement inside either. weird.
