Had a lovely experience at Lay Low Cafe! We visited during the Victoria Day holiday and the place was buzzing with people. Their patio is now open and it looked like such a beautiful spot to sit and relax, but it was completely full! We ended up sitting inside instead, and honestly, we were still really impressed. We ordered an espresso, a matcha oat milk latte, and a smoked salmon bagel for breakfast. Everything was delicious and definitely worth it. I went here recently and enjoyed a sandwich (made with French toast as the bread), but I don’t remember the name of it. It was alright. Potatoes on the side were good. The atmosphere was amazing; the place was very aesthetic and comfortable. My iced tiramisu latte has a wonderful flavour and looked beautiful, however it was a little on the warm side. Service was great. Wish there were more snacky items on the menu as I felt meals were the only option to have. Would come here again!

Incredible sandwiches and drinks! Called here on our first day in Kingston and nothing surpasses it during our stay in Ontario. Staff were excellent and really friendly. Well worth a visit if in the area. Recommended.

We came here for brunch and ordered the breakfast wraps (one with sausage and one with bacon), as well as the egg white frittata. Though everything was plated beautifully the taste was mid and honestly pretty greasy. But their other food looks so delicious so maybe we just ordered the wrong things?? The matcha here deserves the hype though!
