3 days before Christmas, on our way to Quebec City from Toronto, my daughter wanted to eat in a diner for breakfast that has a local feel and history. We found this diner during my research. This 100 year restaurant made our road trip memorable. Food is delicious, service is amazing, vibe is just the type we were looking for. I am visiting Kingston for the first time and thought I’d check this place out because it had good reviews. The service was genuinely the best I’ve ever received anywhere in my life. I came here alone and I was set up right at the bar where the staff interacted with me regularly and never kept me waiting longer than a few seconds. on top of that the liver and fried onions, which I tried were absolutely exceptional, which is rare to find as liver can definitely be a hit or miss. the gravy on which the mashed potatoes came with was also exceptional.
