My wife and I went to The Red House before heading to our first hockey game, and it turned out to be the perfect start to the evening. We ordered a few tapas style appetizers to share: the pork belly bites, charcuterie board, chicken tinga tacos, and the rapini and broccoli. Everything was so good it was honestly hard to pick a favourite. The charcuterie board was especially impressive, with a great assortment of cheeses, meats, pickles, olives, fruit, and really good crostini bread. It felt generous and thoughtfully put together. Keep on going. We went a got a seat on the patio. Looked at the menu and looked great. Service however was horrible. The 4 of sat down and waited, and we waited. 3 other tables of people came in well after us and got served quite quickly. We on the other hand kept getting passed by. Never even got a glass of water. After 20 minutes or more we decided to get up and leave without a single server coming by. Would have been nice to try the food. Looked good. As we were leaving I made mention of how bad the service was considering other tables got waited on before us and we there well before them.

Went for dinner with the wife today, while visiting Kingston Ontario. Even though parking was hard to find at first the experience was worth it. The portions you receive here is alot more than I would've expected and the food is very mouth watering, like on another level. We over ordered cause we didn't know the portions were going to be that big. At the end of it all we ended up spending about 150$ which included at 25$ tip.
