I enjoyed the rice, and the portion sizes were generous. However, I was disappointed by the restaurant's obvious understaffing. One employee was busy managing both in-store orders and many Uber Eats orders, which seemed too much for just one person to handle. During the dinner rush, the establishment should be adequately staffed. The staff member was professional and apologized for being overwhelmed, but the owner should be ashamed for putting so much pressure on one employee.

Amazing service! There was a little bit of confusion with my order and we received chicken shawarmas instead of shawarma ramen bowls. They quickly provided us with shawarma ramen bowls at no additional charge, which was really nice! Also, the shawarma ramen bowl slaaaps. If you’re looking for a sign to get one, this is it! It’s surprisingly tasty and incredibly flavourful!

Had a great experience at Tahini’s! The staff members, Supreme and Jasmine, took amazing care of us from start to finish. Service was incredibly fast, and they were both so kind and welcoming, which really made the visit enjoyable. Might go to is the 50-50 bowl where you can choose two out of the three rice salad or fries. I’ve also tried the butter chicken, which was delicious. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced — definitely great value for what you get. I also love that it’s one of the later open spots in town, making it perfect for late-night cravings. BURNT FOOD I came to Kingston after almost a decade and was so excited to see so many new halal options. Ended up here at Tahini’s. Even though service was really friendly, not even a single instruction was followed. Spice levels were all same. We were mentioned multiple times that you can either have rice and fries or rice and salad. We chose rice and salad and three out of four orders were rice and fries. This was not big of deal so we divided to go with it anyways only to find out that chicken was also all burnt. Super disappointed :(
