I’ve been coming to Trolley 5 a least once a week (if not more) since moving to Calgary in April 2021. I’ve never had a bad meal here. My most favourite meals are the chicken wings, dim-sum, poutine, and pizza. If I don’t know what to cook for dinner, I’ll often come to Trolley 5 for Happy Hour as the prices are similar to grocery store prepared meals. Came here with a group to watch FIFA in the morning. Thankfully they were airing the game with full sound unlike some other places. Ordered drinks and a bunch of appetizers for the table. Sliders and fried pickles were amazing. Something about the pizza was off tho. It was our first time dining here and unfortunately, the service left a bad impression and we felt discriminated. We are the only asian among the customers, and the server seems so very nice with them but appears to be dismissive to us. We asked how the Wednesday wing special worked—whether it was counted per piece or by pound—but the explanation wasn’t clear.
