The kind of food you have to wait to devour. You can tell Craft Fare is a popular spot. Its simple design, simple comfort food, and assortment of craft beer makes it a great spot for a drink or for dinner. The food is fantastic, but be careful, the food is delicious and comes out piping hot. The temp kept me from eating it as fast I wanted, and that's not a complaint. If you want a great spot to chill, check it out, order the Mac and Cheese and try not to burn your tongue.

I stopped in for a light lunch and to check out the local selection. The space has a great modern feel that fits right into the downtown area, and it was a comfortable spot to hang out for a bit. I tried a couple of the snacks and was really impressed with the quality and how well they paired with the drinks. The staff was attentive without being pushy, which made for a very relaxed visit. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m looking for a casual bite.

A bit of an oasis in Nanaimo. Great rotating beer and ciders on tap. Food is surprisingly sophisticated and excellent. Bartender is a lovely, friendly person who is incredibly patient and extraordinarily good at her job. She must be a valuable asset to the business. Really relaxing environment.

Exactly what you would expect from a brewery. Service was quick, it was a busy place with seats being refilled quickly. Beer options were good, it was nice to have a few options for sours on the menu too. We tried the beer stein pretzel with cheese sauce it was really good and definitely for someone who likes a heavy dose of salt, it hit the spot. Overall nice spot to stop in for a drink to start the night
