The food was absolutely delicious! Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. What really stood out to me was how clean and comfortable the atmosphere felt — there was no strong food smell at all, which is pretty rare for restaurants. The ventilation is clearly great, and it made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It's become on of my favorite places

Went there a few years back and now I realize why I didn’t return. Although fresh, food tasted bland. If you like deep fried calamari, squid or octopus don’t buy their appetizer: 13$ for 8 sad pieces of frozen calamari that you can get im cheap groceries for 10$ a big bag. Nothing homemade, just the cheap rings with too much breading around. When you add 15% taxes and tip over it, it just doesn’t make sense. I was looking for some fried squid and paying that price for that makes me feel sad, borderline insulting. The iced Vietnamese coffee was well done, but again 8$ is abusive for a cup fu

Got the calamari, shrimp tempura beef rice dish. Seems like zero spices on the beef, nothing that makes it seem like Vietnamese food, tastes like cooked beef and that’s it. Very good portion, lots of beef, worth the price, just flavourless. Got extra beef with it, very nice portion for the price but also flavourless. Not that there isn’t enough spice, there is no spice. The shrimp tempura were nice big crispy shrimp, zero flavour, seem like frozen Walmart shrimp tempura. Calamari was the worst calamari I’ve had in my life, completely flavourless, same Walmart style. Great spot for pho if you are in the neighborhood! The value here is excellent. While the prices are about average for Ottawa, the portions are big, and it’s great that they include all kinds of toppings in the bowl rather than charging extra for different combinations. They also offer a 15% discount for seniors (60+), which is a nice touch. The restaurant itself is spacious and well-renovated. It’s located in a strip mall, so there is plenty of free parking right out front. Would definitely recommend giving it a try!
