Visited after their lunch rush and place looks like it got swamped with a few of their large tables still have dishes that have not been cleared. Set menus as well as à la carte offered. Enjoyed the dim sum and staff were friendly. This is my second time in this restaurant and remains one of the best ones in Ottawa.

My friends suggested having a birthday lunch twice to celebrate his 90th birthday in September. The dishes were perfect for seniors and everyone, with plenty of dim sum and other options available. The staff were really friendly too. Highly recommend, especially since there aren’t many large Chinese restaurants in Chinatown in downtown Ottawa.

We went for dim sum. The food is actually very delicious, shrimp dumpling is the best I've ever had in Ottawa. All the dim sum dishes are very authentic, fresh and tasty. My family enjoyed the dishes very much. However we didn't have a good experience as the service was very disappointing. There were only 2 waitresses trying their best to serve the 12 tables at the time, some are large families. We asked for water more than 4 times, eventually had to help ourselves to get glasses and jar ourselves. Same with tea. I noticed that other tables had the same trouble getting service as the poor

Visited Shanghai One Fine Dining for the first time on a Sunday afternoon for dim sum. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated, even though a few tables were clearly vacant but just not cleaned, a bit frustrating, clearly understaffed. The layout seems to cater more to larger parties, so smaller groups may feel a little out of place. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. It took over 10 minutes just to receive a menu after we sat down, and we had to wave someone down multiple times for basic things like tea refills.
