Cute little pub with a friendly neighbourhood vibe. We tried this place for brunch. The menu was fairly standard - your classic bacon and eggs breakfast kind of place. I liked that they served fresh cut home fries instead of frozen. Although I wished they had a little seasoning on them. The only thing that threw me was that our breakfast came with only one piece of toast. Usually most places serve two. I like to dip my toast in my egg yolk so I ended up ordering a second piece. Classic small maritime pub owned by a sweet and friendly older lady. Colleen herself can often be seen working with the other staff and personally engaging with customers. The pub is small and intimate with a very informal and laid back vibe. One of those places where everybody knows everybody. If you're looking for formal restaurant-style service and quick wait times you won't find it here. But you will find fair prices and very friendly and personable staff, with daily live music and decent food. The place has character and great atmosphere, and sometimes that's better than any fine dining

I went here this past weekend and when I say I never had such a positive experience with service like this one. The owner was my server and she was so talkative and had a spicy personality I loved it! The food came out quickly as well and was very good. Me and my friends decided we will be coming back every time we are in Halifax. Honestly I cannot express how this experience exceeded my expectations! ❤️
