I went to the Montreal Comedy Club and MTL Comedy Ville sponsored event at 7:00 pm (EDT) on April 25, 2026 for a friend's birthday. It was my first time at the Comedy Club in Montreal. I attended the Montreal comedy show, and it was my second time experiencing it. Unfortunately, I was not particularly impressed, as the jokes seemed quite similar to what I had heard before. Furthermore, the food and beverages from Deli Planet were not to my liking. The vodka, in particular, was one of my least favorite. As a vegetarian, I ordered mozzarella sticks, but I detected a chicken aroma, suggesting they might have been fried in oil previously used for chicken. Consequently, I do not plan to return.

Visited Deli Planet on a recent Friday to watch some of the World Cup and attend one of their weekend comedy shows. Before the show, I grabbed a seat at the bar for a meal and some drinks. I was able to watch the World Cup on the bar TV (and there are others TVs scattered around the restaurant). Stopped in at Deli Planet just after 1 p.m. and was pleasantly surprised by how quiet and relaxing it was, even inside Montreal Central Station. I was seated in a cozy area where other diners were enjoying their meals, and the hustle from busy travellers didn’t affect my experience at all. The food was delicious and the portions were huge and tasty. I couldn’t eat it all in one sitting!
