Tasty sushi and quick service. There are a huge variety of rolls available and the menu certainly leans towards fried, rich, saucy maki and creative rolls. The takoyaki, edamame and rolls are all quite tasty and great for take-out or dining in. Definitely worth a visit when in the area.

I’ve tried Sushi California in Downtown and Burnaby (Lougheed), but the Langley location is on a completely different level—it’s amazing! Even though it’s far from us in North Vancouver, whenever we have time, we make the trip because it’s absolutely worth it. The design and presentation of the dishes are like artwork, the ingredients are always super fresh, and even though the restaurant is usually busy, the wait is never more than a few minutes. Sushi Calis used to be one of my favorite sushi restaurants because of their services and specialty rolls. However I’ve noticed that the food quality has been very disappointing lately. I ordered Alaska roll and the rice to avocado + cucumber ratio is not adding up. They definitely have been adding more rice than usual I am a regular here and would eat atleast 3-4x a month however due to the quality of food, I stopped going. I prefer Sushi Garden now

The menu had some really unique dishes we hadn’t seen elsewhere, and everything we tried was delicious. It’s super family- and kid-friendly — the waitress offered us a booster seat as soon as we walked in, which was such a nice touch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome.
