It was winter, so there weren’t many tourists in the area, and in this restaurant I was the only foreigner. The place was full of locals but still not crowded, which gave it a nice, relaxed atmosphere. The menu was written in French on a chalkboard. I originally wanted the steak, but something told me to try the lamb instead — and I’m glad I did, because it was delicious. I’m not completely sure how prices usually are here, but it felt a bit expensive. Still, you pay for quality, and that’s exactly what I wanted. Good food doesn’t have to be fancy, it just has to be delicious. This restaurant fully embodies that sentence. It’s very hearty, down to earth food that was made with respect to the ingredients. The mussels were fresh, and the lamb shoulder was amazing; super tender, and packed with flavor. Definitely recommended!

Amazing food and superb staff. It is pricey but worth every penny. Don’t miss on asking for a bottle of local wine (as they are so yummy) also, baked camembert and mussel and frites are a must!
