My wife and I found this gem in Angers last week. The food was fresh, authentic, and prepared with care. What a pleasure it was! Starting with a really nice location, just a few minutes walk from the riverbank, with amazing hosts, that genuinely care about their guests, and to the amazing food. We started with a drink - I had the Ange’vin Spritz with which they came up on their own - prepared using a local liquor - veeery good and refreshing. Together with friends we ordered frittata to share and everyone got a piece of it with a small salad on side. Then we took several pizzas, again to share and every composition was cut into 3 pieces so we could taste them all. We finished with the best panna

We went to Croccante to taste a new Italian restaurant in Angers. It's been an amazing experience and I completely fell in love <3 The dough was crunchy and light at the same time.The ingredients on top were really fresh and you could feel the quality. We were invited to try a typical specialty from southern Italy, pizza "Fritta" - absolute discovery. The melting mozzarella inside... Beautiful interior, really good Aperol Sprits. We ended our dinner with a "Coup de couer" - tiramisu that made me travel back to Italy...We are going to come back , that's for sure!

I was so distracted with the brilliant service, stunning food and great atmosphere that I forgot to take a picture. Pizza fritta to be tested - incredible. We had such a lovely night. Thank you also for being so welcoming with our dog, really appreciate it! We will be back for sure.
