The restaurant offers an excellent selection of great dishes. I tried the snails, a steak, and the dessert trompe l’œil, all of which were very tasty. We also ordered a cheese selection, but for €9 we received only three very small slices of cheese, which felt completely overpriced to me. Aside from that, the food was flavorful and creatively seasoned. The atmosphere and service were outstanding 5/5.

Le Petit Pres is a very nice restaurant located right in the city centre of Angers. The kitchen is open and visible, which gives a clean and reassuring impression. The food quality was excellent. The menu is quite limited (around 5–6 dishes), but everything is very well executed. We ordered a filet de bœuf, veau, and a kids menu (steak haché with French fries), and all dishes were very good. They also offer a solid variety of wines. One thing to note: side dishes are not included and need to be ordered separately. The cocktail signature is refreshing and delightful, while the dessert is absolutely delicious. However, the main dish “Paillard de veau” is average in taste and the presentation could use some improvement, as it appears a bit messy. On a positive note, the service is excellent, and I truly enjoy the view on sunny days.
