A truly special meal at Le Carlotta. We came to share a dinner in memory of my grandfather, who recently passed, and were welcomed with extraordinary warmth and care by the owner. A small thing that meant a lot: we had asked for a round table so the family could share the meal properly, and she went out of her way to make it happen, even moving guests who had originally booked it but didn't mind the change. Food and drink was excellent! Well prepared escargot and oysters as well as a magnificent sea food platter. Unfortunately the service staff was a bit overwhelmed, so some mistakes were made. Would go back if in Caen again.
