The interior is quite nice and it was good to get out of the wind, as it is very close to the sea. The staff were pleasant but the crepes were distinctly average and they forgot the coffees. Grand cafe au lait is a small cup, I hoped for a mug being grand, but it is the French way.

Classic French brasserie which I have been coming to for over 15 years. My parents would take me when we lived nearby when I was little and now when we go through Calais it’s always a safe and tasty option for some good food. Food is delicious, classic French menu. Decent price and good portions. The chips are nice you can tell home made. The steak is cooked well and lovely pepper sauce. The place is always packed at lunch full of locals eating but despite this service is quick and food brought out reasonably quick. The service is friendly. Definitely recommend this brasserie if you are not

Worst food I have ever tasted in my life… the atmosphere is quite nice, the service as well quite nice and helpful. Now to the food. We had like salad, steak frite and tartare. I am sorry but the food had no taste at all, no salt pepper etc… I am willing to give 2 stars because our server was really nice to us, but unfortunately in a place where you want to eat, the food is essential. The food was complete distasteful.
