We visit Le Comptoir des Docks from London every year. The quaint terrace is perfectly situated at the corner of Des Docks, a refurbished structure encompassing numerous small independent businesses. The staff at Le Comptoir polite and engaging (helps if you speak French). The steak tartare is a must, perfectly seasoned with a kick! The place is nice and has great potential, but we don't think they are quite there yet. Their concept is inspired on a tapas bar: this means they let you chose and mix from a list of "main" courses and their side dishes. Overall, while not terrible, I found the food to be a bit underwhelming. Not a lot of flavour, spices or condiments, even if in theory it should've been the opposite (we had falafels, tabbouleh, tartare and steak tagliata).
