This is a great little brasserie in Le Mans, very close to the town center and not too far from the train station. Here you will find a welcoming owner, monsieur Maupay, and very friendly staff. There's indoor and outdoor seating and a cool bar playing some blues! They have a simple food menu, and our meals were very well prepared! In my case; steak, frites and salad (side note: best frites in France as far as I'm concerned, and that's after 6 weeks and 17 cities!). The wine, beer and drink selections are good aa well! Highly recommended!!

I was in Le Mans recently for the 24 hour Motorcycle race and we had lunch here and then returned, ALWAYS a good sign. We sat outside for lunch as the sun was warm and the guys served us with smiles and kindness as well as excellent cold beer! We chose the lunch dish of the day which was rice and some tomatoe based sausage dish and it was truly EXCELLENT, great food. We returned for lunch on our last day but inside cos it was cold and windy but again the food was great and we really enjoyed it, this time mashed spuds and a kind of a black pudding dish which we had never seen before but hey, it
